About myself

I was born in the city of Buenos Aires, and my first appreciation of the world of dance began just like that of many other dancers, at the young age of 7.

One day, as I was watching a ballet show On TV, I told my mother: “I want to dance!” and at that moment I made my first steps.

Two years later, I successfully passed the admission exam at the local School of Dance “José Neglia” [Escuela Municipal de Danzas “José Neglia”], where I studied the official 10-year course and obtained a Professor of Classical Ballet diploma.

A short while after beginning ballet dancing classes, at the age of 9, I discovered Tango thanks to two reveler masters: Aurelio and Delma Gómez.  They both guided, taught, and supported me in this path, and it is due to them that I have such passion and affection for the world of tango. In my never-ending search for continuous improvement, I attended classes with very well-known 2×4 experts, namely: Norberto Guichenduc, Carlos Rivarola, Roberto Herrera, Julio Balmaceda and Corina de la Rosa, Gabriela and Francisco Martinez Pey.

Ever since I began devoting my life to dance I have never stopped dancing, turning my profession into both a way of living and, essentially, giving my life a sense of purpose and great emotion.

In 2006, I travelled to Spain to dance and direct the artistic organization of The International Tango Festival [Festival International de Tango] at the Polytechnic University in Valencia. Following this positive experience, I decided to move to the city, where I obtained the equivalent Spanish Professional Ballet Dancer Diploma (Argentine Fundamental Law 1/1990).

In 2009, I was a judge on the panel in the Buenos Aires Tango Intercontinental Championship.

Additionally, I was appointed Head Professor of Tango lessons coordinated by the Formation and Popularization Divisions.

In 2010, I was called upon to carry out the managerial and organizational duties once again at the Valencia 2010 International Tango Festival that took place at the Polytechnic University.
